Update - 4th August 2008

•  The pictures keep rolling in.  Rather than deleting fans’ pictures shortly after they have been put on the website (due to new ones being received) we have decided to add a new ‘Fanscene’ page.  This can be accessed via the ‘GALLERY’ section.  This should mean that you can view yourself and your friends for a little longer.

 

 

Update - 23rd July 2008

•  Correction!!  Due to the fact that we are receiving many enquiries re the sale of tickets for the Christmas gig it has been decided to put them on sale from Friday, 1st August and not the 1st September as previously announced.  The procedure for buying tickets remains unchanged (i.e. via the ‘CONTACT’ page on this website or by calling 077 1197 6497).

Update - 19th July 2008

•   Tickets for the band’s Christmas Gig, when they will be appearing on the same bill as 50’s/60’s Rock n’ Roll legend VINCE EAGER, go on sale from Monday, 1st September.  They will be priced at £8.  However anyone wishing to reserve tickets before that date can do so via the ‘CONTACT’ page on this website or by calling 077 1197 6497.  The venue for the gig will again be The Standard Triumph Recreation Club, Coventry.  Hope to see you there!  Why not visit Vince’s website at www.vinceeager.co.uk?  You’ll certainly be impressed!

 

 

Update - 1st July 2008

•   Enquiries and bookings for the band continue to roll in (no pun intended) with dates being provisionally reserved well into 2009.  Watch out for when  The EAGER BEAVERS will next be playing near you!

 

•  Welcomed on stage at a recent gig was guest vocalist Kylie.  Here she is with Slap Bass Player Stuart.  Great job Kylie!

 

 

Update - 1st June 2008

•  As the year progresses it is clear that the band’s reputation continues to grow, demonstrated by the repeat bookings they receive and comments  from their expanding fan base.  Increasingly The EAGER BEAVERS are being asked to play at private functions celebrating weddings, birthdays, anniversaries  -  you name it the’ve probably played it!

 

•  Requests continue to be received for tickets to be reserved for the lads’ Christmas gig, when they will be playing on the same bill as 50’s / 60’s Rock n’ Roll legend VINCE EAGER (supported by Rockola);

 

•  The EAGER BEAVERS are pleased to be closely associated with a new Rockabilly / Rock n’ Roll Club which will be based in Coventry.  The Covabilly Lounge holds it’s first event on Friday, 13th June when UK Rockabilly stars The Hicksville Bombers will be appearing (full details on www.covabilly.co.uk).

 

 

Update - 7th May 2008

 

•  Time certainly goes quick when you’re enjoying yourself!  Difficult to believe that we are already taking bookings for 2009.

 

•  We must apologise to anyone who was hoping to see the lads at The Jolly Abbot in Rugby on Saturday, 10th May.  Unfortunately they will not be appearing due to an error made when dates were being discussed (our fault!).  The good news is that they will definitely be at The Jolly Abbot on Saturday, 23rd August.

 

•  Re the website.  We have added a few more customer’s comments plus pics and a new page showing some of the venues played by The EAGER BEAVERS.   This clearly shows that the lads are at home playing to gatherings of all sizes.  Providing they entertain they are happy.   You can see the current selection of venues by going to the ‘GALLERY’ section.  

 

Update - 16th March 2008

 

•  Believe it or not, Eddie Cochran would have been seventy years old this year!  To mark the occasion a special Eddie Cochran Weekender is being held in Chippenham on Friday, 3rd and Saturday, 4th October.  The EAGER BEAVERS have been asked to play as part of Saturday’s line-up.  Can’t wait!  Further details on the Weekender will be given once known.

Update - 6th March 2008

•  Well the year has started well, with The EAGER BEAVERS receiving accolades wherever they play.  More and more people are asking them to play at private functions - weddings, birthdays and anniversaries in particular.  When they do play public venues it usually follows that the lads are re-booked, very often to play on more than one occasion in the future;

 

•  Pleased to report that drummer Darren has slotted in extremely well.  It’s as if he never left the band.  Catch the black and white picture (above) of The Eager Beavers as they were the first time round!

 

•  Great News!!  Although still with a long time to go the date for the band’s 2008 Christmas Gig has been set.  It will be on Saturday, 13th December and the venue will be as for last year - The Standard Triumph Recreation Club in Coventry.  The icing on the Christmas Cake will be that Fifties / Sixties Rock n’ Roll legend Vince Eager will be headlining with his band Rockola.  Full details, including the price of tickets will be published in the not too distant future.  In the meantime anyone wishing to reserve tickets can do so by calling 077 1197 6497 or vis the ‘CONTACT’ page on this website.  There is no doubt that this Christmas Gig will be a sell-out as was the case last year.
